Sue Floyd
Having grown up through the decade of disco and entering into big band jazz and soul bands in later years, Sue absolutely loves a huge variety of music. Her first paid gig was at age 13 when her head of music put her in an adult band and told her to say she was 14 to ensure she was allowed in the pub!
Sue has played on cruise ships and in hotels, doubling on clarinet and flute but in recent years, has been busy entertaining clients with her solo sax sets at weddings, corporate functions and private parties. Sue has played many genres over the years including, soul, Motown, swing, classic rock, ska and house music, but favouring 70’s/80’s disco and funk. Sue’s mad passion for dancing has her engaging with guests on the dancefloor throughout her performances. Sue can provide both solo saxophones with backing tracks (for reception drinks) and blast her heart out alongside fabulous DJs for party sets later in the evening.
